INCERT (INtrusion-CERTification) is the Belgian quality label for electronic theft protection, in force since 2002. It guarantees that the installer (CCure) and the equipment used (Ajax Systems) comply with the European standard EN 50131. It is the benchmark required by insurers to recognise the validity of a security installation.

Not necessarily. CAR insurance may cover theft, but many policies require the implementation of minimum security measures. The absence of a certified alarm can be grounds for refusal of compensation or application of an increased excess. The general contractor is responsible for guarding the site and materials until provisional acceptance of the works, unless otherwise stipulated in the specifications.
